If anyone finds Harry’s actions here unrealistic, remember that this is the same man who admitted to almost strangling or abandoning a helpless infant in his journal. Harry clearly harbored a grudge against Alessa for supposedly taking away Cheryl, at first. I don’t find it hard to believe he would act on it if he lost the battle with the demons plaguing him.
